bandwidth

Noun B2 – Upper-Intermediate

The amount of data that can be transmitted over a connection in a given time, or, informally, a person's capacity to take on more.

"Video calls use much more bandwidth than a simple text message."

"Bandwidth" is now common informally for mental capacity too, as in "I don't have the bandwidth for another project right now".
