A stylistic device that uses multiple conjunctions in close succession, where fewer would normally be grammatically necessary.

"'We ran and we jumped and we shouted and we laughed' is polysyndeton, piling up conjunctions to build energy."

Polysyndeton slows a sentence down and adds weight to each item, the opposite effect of asyndeton, which speeds things up by dropping conjunctions.
