sarcasm

Noun B2 – Upper-Intermediate

A sharp, often mocking way of speaking in which the speaker says the opposite of what they actually mean.

"'Oh, great, another Monday,' she said, dripping with sarcasm."

Sarcasm relies heavily on tone of voice, which is part of why it's so easy to misread in text messages.
